Introduction
Amidst the pre-war shops and hawker stalls of Jalan Bunga Raya, stands the Grand lady of Melaka - Madam King's Departmental Store. 

Madam King's Departmental Store is the oldest departmental store in Malacca and was opened in the early 1970's. She opened in a pre-war shophouse opposite her current premises but over the years, she has grown from strength to strength. Currently, Madam King's is doing her business in a 4 storey airconditioned building and in December 2001, she opened a new wing beside the existing building.

Airconditioned Shopping & Her Products
Madam King's Departmental Store offers a variety of reasonable priced products to customers. All items are sold in  air-conditioned floors covering more than 5,000 square feet of shopping space. She sells a variety of products ranging from Men's &  Ladies' clothing to perfumes, shoes & household items all at reasonable prices. Housed in a comfortable 4 storeys air-conditioned environment, shopping is a breeze.

On the ground floor, perfumes and cosmestics are readily available. On the first floor, Men's clothing and accessories are available while the 2nd. floor is reserved for the Ladies. For children clothings, one must head to the 3rd. floor and the household items are located on the highest floor. Accessibility to all floors can be done by lifts or by stairs

MK Card - Madam King's very own Loyalty Card
To reward her loyal customers, Madam King's introduced her own MK Card. Regular customers, who sign up for the MK Card at only RM10.00 per year, are rewarded with bonus points for their purchases whenever they use this card. Accumulated bonus points can be redeemed for various gifts - certainly a good way in rewarding her loyal customers.
