Main - Tourism Melaka

The main page for Tourism Melaka will be a way for new users to become familiar with the basics of the site (ie the different topics the site is divided into). This is achieved through the layout which consists of the header plus menu and a larger version of the graphics which will be used to represent the topics. This page will
generally explain the site thus allowing people to learn how it is structured. The menu bar will then be for people familiar with it as they can click directly to sections they might want to see.

Main Sections

The layout of the site will be the same for each topic. It will consist of the top section which has the header Tourism Melaka logo, name and contact details with a corresponding footer at the bottom of the page with my details (as per requirements). The left column will be a table of contents, unique for each of the main sections of the website.

Beneath the header will be a flash menu for the main topics which will take the user to specific sections within the topic (an alternate text menu for W3C purposes will be included at the left side of each page).

Small images which will represent each topic will be used as direct links to each section will reside below the menu. These will have alternate tags for identification (W3C).

The main part of the page will be divided into three sections;

Left hand column: Each topic will have a menu specific to that section.

Right hand column: Will have advertisements (e-commerce based). (not yet Implemented)

Main middle section: Will then have text and images on the topic with links to more specific sections where specified.

Images, text etc has been taken from the www.tourism-melaka.com website or otherwise provided by the site owner, Kang Tsi Wong twkang@emp.com.my.
