The Melaka River Monorail from Taman Rempah to Bunga Raya Station is progressing well.

Over the weekend, we saw the steel railtrack being installed on the concrete columns along the Melaka River.

Once completed, the stations will be constructed before the monorail train is mounted and electrical system installed.

The system should be ready in 2010. When completed, the monorail will be another tourist attraction for visitors and locals alike. Visitors can either take the monorail or walk along the Melaka river bank and enjoy the scenery.
